Introducing The Victory Lap's Official No-Shave November Contest

You asked for it, you got it. A number of people have asked me about doing an official No-Shave November contest on The Victory Lap, and it sounds like a good idea to me so let’s give it a shot.  At the end of the month, send me a picture of your facial hair and we will open up a poll to determine the winner. I’ll remind everyone when the time comes.

To be honest with you I haven’t decided what the winner will get yet because I procrastinate until the last minute on everything, but there will be a prize of some kind that will be worth winning, and if you are named TVL's Best Beard I think it's safe to say you can have your pick of any lady on campus.

Let me be clear: this isn’t necessarily a contest to see who can grow the longest or biggest beard. Anyone could win this thing because it will be based on the votes. If you think a mustache alone can win, then just grow a mustache.
