Jay Williams just called me to talk about basketball, no big deal

So earlier today Jay Williams tweeted that he was gonna call people who sent him a phone number. I was killing time on Twitter instead of studying for an exam, so I saw it right away and figured I'd respond. After like 15 minutes I forgot about it and headed to the exam, but right after I sat down to start the test he actually called me. I saw the 212 number so I got up and took the call.

We only talked for a few minutes - Partly because I had to go take my exam, partly because he may not actually care about what I think about college basketball - but the bottom line is this: Jay-Will loves the Badgers. Went through every guy in the rotation and said everything they bring to the table. Talked about all the different scoring options that opponents will need to find a way to defend. 

He said what he loves the most about Wisconsin is that we always expect to win. A lot of teams are storming the court after mediocre wins or calling attention to themselves all the time, but the Badgers just show up, get it done, and go home. Those aren't my words, those are the words of a Player of the Year, National Champion, and 2nd overall pick in the draft.

Anyway, not trying to sound like some insider who hangs out with Jay Williams on the weekends or something, just a cool story that happened to me today.
