The
7-foot junior set a school record by scoring 43 points in a 103-85 win over
North Dakota on Tuesday.
Kaminsky
shot 16-for-18 from the field, 6-for-6 from 3-point range, and 5-for-6 from the
free-throw line. His previous career-high was 19 points, which came last season
against Illinois.
He
is also now the single-game scoring leader in college basketball this season.
Three players had reached 38 points this season, but Kaminsky is the first to
notch at least 40 in a game.
I don’t know if you guys heard about it or not but Frank
Kaminsky set the single game scoring record for Wisconsin last night with 43.
Just couldn’t miss and couldn’t be guarded by anyone on the floor. It’s obvious
Frank has been an important part of a 4-0 start for the Badgers, but before
tonight he was averaging 8.7 points per game.
Wonder what he did differently in his pregame routine…
Sure looks to me like he read a few articles on TVL and
then headed over to the Kohl Center to torch North Dakota. I don’t know, you
tell me. Bottom line is, you can
start every day by reading The Victory Lap and live in the history books
forever like Frank Kaminsky, or you can choose not to read The Victory Lap and
live a boring, forgettable life. Your call.
